In the Miao villages of Guizhou, festival dress is a language of its own — layers of indigo-black cloth worked with silver-toned embroidery, worn with an elaborate headdress that catches the light with every step. This is the outfit local women wear for the travel-photo spots around Kaili, Xijiang and Zhaoxing, and it photographs beautifully against courtyard walls, pond bridges and oil-paper umbrellas.

Build Your Set
The set is modular — order it the way you’ll wear it:
- Tube Top + Skirt + Belt — the core three-piece look
- + Headdress / Double-Layer Hat — adds the tall graduated crown or the layered hat from the photos
- Top — the short embroidered jacket worn open over the tube top
- Round Headdress — a softer cap-style crown, worn here with the silver-tone necklace collar
All embroidery and silver-tone panels are sewn onto the garments — nothing is pinned or clipped.

The Embroidery
Floral medallion bands run along the collar, shoulders, skirt panels and belt tabs, finished with fine metal tassels at the hem that move as you walk. The silver-tone appliqué panels on the tube top are the signature detail of this style.

Fabric & Honest Materials
The main fabric is polyester (printed and embroidered) with a soft drape — it holds the skirt’s A-line shape and travels well. The silver-tone trims are metal-look embroidery and plated panels. This is a costume reproduction, not antique Miao silver or hand-woven textiles — we say so up front so you know exactly what’s arriving.

Fit & Size Guide
Choose by height and weight first; bust and waist are secondary checks. The tube top has light built-in shaping; the skirt closes with a side zip and the belt ties.
| Size | Height | Weight | Bust fits | Waist fits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| S | 155–160 cm | 37–45 kg (82–99 lb) | 85 cm (33.5″) | 66 cm (26″) |
| M | 160–165 cm | 45–50 kg (99–110 lb) | 89 cm (35″) | 73 cm (28.7″) |
| L | 165–170 cm | 50–55 kg (110–121 lb) | 93 cm (36.6″) | 80 cm (31.5″) |
| XL | 170–175 cm | 55–60 kg (121–132 lb) | 97 cm (38.2″) | 87 cm (34.3″) |
| 2XL | 170–175 cm | 60–65 kg (132–143 lb) | 100 cm (39.4″) | 94 cm (37″) |
| 3XL | 170–175 cm | 65–70 kg (143–154 lb) | 107 cm (42.1″) | 100 cm (39.4″) |
| 4XL | 170–175 cm | 70–75 kg (154–165 lb) | 114 cm (44.9″) | 107 cm (42.1″) |
Measurements are taken by hand, so allow 1–3 cm of variance. Between two sizes, size up for a looser drape.
For Travel Photos
Add an oil-paper umbrella and you have the classic Guizhou shot — the crown photographs best against water, courtyards and grey brick. The jacket is cut short at the waist so it layers over the tube top without hiding the silver-tone panels.

Care
Hand wash cold separately, hang to dry in shade, and iron on low heat from the reverse side. Keep the silver-tone panels dry and wipe them with a soft cloth after wear. Do not bleach.

Each set is assembled from sewn-on trims, so panel placement may vary slightly between batches — part of the character of festival-style costume work.
